Appliance Professional Attends Dacor Factory Training

At Appliance Professional, we believe the best service comes from continuous learning—and last month, we had an opportunity to train with Dacor. Our technician Andrew spent 3.5 days at Dacor’s training facility in Dallas, Texas, immersing himself in the latest information on Dacor appliances.

The training combined classroom learning and hands-on practice, covering Dacor’s entire product lineup:

  • Refrigerators, column fridges/freezers, undercounter refrigeration, and beverage centers
  • Ovens, ranges, cooktops, warming drawers, and microwaves
  • Dishwashers and vent hoods

What We Learned

This wasn’t just a basic overview—Andrew was shown the latest features, troubleshooting techniques, installation methods, and disassembly processes for every category of Dacor appliance.

One of the most valuable aspects? Learning how to access appliances that aren’t obvious to take apart. Many of Dacor’s beautifully designed units conceal their fasteners and panels for a seamless look. The instructors demonstrated where those hidden points are and how to safely disassemble and reassemble the units for diagnostics and repair—knowledge that only factory-trained technicians receive.

Why It Matters for Our Customers

Because we’re factory-authorized for Dacor, we already have access to Dacor’s technical support and service manuals. This training strengthened that partnership and gave Andrew new skills, practical techniques, and answers to real-world questions.

For our customers, that means:

  • Faster, more accurate repairs
  • Safer disassembly and reassembly
  • Better understanding of common issues with newer models

The Takeaway

We came away from this training with a renewed appreciation for Dacor’s craftsmanship and a stronger relationship with the brand. More importantly, we came home better equipped to support our customers who’ve chosen Dacor appliances for their homes.

If you have a Dacor refrigerator, oven, or any other appliance that needs service, schedule online or give us a call—we’re ready to put our training to work for you.
